We’ve officially moved in!

Is it still officially moved in when you still have a few things at the old house? I think yes.

So on Saturday Elke, Eric, Tom, Kim, Alec, Nat and David showed up and helped us move two houses into one (plus a few offsite pick ups from Travis’ for the couch and the grandparents for a BBQ.)

Alec likes to walk into the garage and say I have alot of stuff and yeah he’s right, it’s about double. But I like to say I have had a few more years to accumulate. However unpacking the closet has reminded me I have way too many clothes. I need to go through them again (I did when I first packed them) and decide what I really should keep or not.

So our current plan is to unpack what we need and the large stuff that we can move when we start painting. Amy ordered the paint from Benjamin Moore and we should get it this weekend pending schedules can sync up. I don’t know if we’re going to start painting this weekend since we still have to wash the walls with TSP, remove hardware, mend the walls and tape stuff. Uhg, okay it might be Jan before we have our housewarming party. I’ll keep you posted.
